Around the corner…

This is a sponsored post by Tiny Prints

Christmas is just around the corner-I know this because it is time to start thinking about Christmas cards! I have used Tiny Prints for multiple things-Christmas Cards, Invitations, Announcements etc. and they have always been wonderful to work with, easy and have such a wide variety of options-I am always able to find what I am looking for.

Tiny Prints 2012 Holiday Collection has arrived with a lot of new designs AND a new type of paper you can use. I’ve already looked at it all and I can’t wait to pick out ours for this year.

Here are 2 out of the many wonderful new designs!

Have yourself a merry little day looking at Christmas cards-just because Halloween hasn’t even come yet doesn’t mean you can’t get started!

Updates, Updates, Updates

It’s Saturday morning. The first Saturday morning that actually FEELS like it’s Fall and that football is supposed to be on TV. It’s amazing how weather does so much and dictates so many different things such as “feels like football is supposed to be on TV”…it just doesn’t feel right when it’s still 90 degrees outside-maybe I’m the only one that feels this way haha

Anyways-the last few weeks have been Β littleΒ busy, weeks and weekends-resulting in a very tired me, once again resulting in no blog update-for those of you that actually care-I apologize πŸ™‚

BUT it’s Saturday morning, Libs is napping and hubs is getting his oil changed-so I decided to sit down with some coffee and do a little updating.

LAST Friday-the 19th-was Libby’s 3 month birthday! Can’t believe it-I had to take her to the doctor this week because she was a little sickly and I probably didn’t really have to take her to the doctor except I am first time mom who is a little paranoid and needed it for the peace of mind that everything was ok πŸ™‚ Because of that-I got to find out her weight!

SO at 3 Months Libby is:

  • 10 pounds 4 oz
  • Smiling and cooing-a lot!
  • Rolling over from tummy to back (only seen once) and back to tummy (nightly πŸ™‚ )
  • amazing everyone at her alertness-not so much at her napping ability πŸ˜‰
  • going to have her first girl cousin as her new bff in just one week and 2 days! Which brings me to my next update…NORA GRAY IS ON HER WAY!

NEXT Monday, November 5th-Ginger and Lance will be having sweet Nora and I am so so so excited!!! I grew up with 2 girl cousins-one older (who is also having a baby very soon) Β and one my age. We lived in the same town, same school, same church- we were besties growing up and it was Most of my memories from when I was little involve them-so I am elated that Libby will have that same experience (for the most part) and hopefully they will get along πŸ™‚

This weekend my parents (Giddy and Pops to Libby) are here to celebrate Lances birthday-which is actually ON Halloween-everyone called him lil spook haha-the birthday festivities are happening tonight and I am excited to celebrate my big bro-he’s pretty much the best brother, seriously. I mean-what brother can live in a very small apartment with his sister for a year and still want to hang out and still be very close? Not many-he is a patient man I tell you and a very Godly one at that. I can’t wait to see him be a dad.

ONE LAST UPDATE-I promise-and yes I know I am rambling your little reading eyes off-but this is what happens when I am alone with a sleeping baby on Saturday morning with my coffee πŸ™‚

Just a little bragging on the hubs-AMTI (Justin’s work place with his dad, brother, sister and the wonderful denna) put on an amazing open house to show off their new digs. They have been working so incredibly hard on the new warehouse to make it the best it can be and they have accomplished it. I so respect and admire how hard Justin works to do it all to the best that he can (I know everyone else does too, but again..braggin on my husband)…love him for that.

A Flux of Circumstances

As I was reading Jesus Calling this morning this line went straight to the heart. “You need to look beyond the flux of circumstances and discover Me gazing loving back at you.”

If you were to have been inside my head while I was trying to go sleep/thinking/praying you would understand why that statement went straight to the heart. So much going on around us in this world we live in. So much going on in the lives and relationships we have around us. So much good around us. So much hurt around us. It’s hard to not take it upon yourself-to burden yourself with these things-want them so badly to work out the way in our humans minds would want it to work out. Trying to remind myself that the Lords ways are perfect-and I may not understand them-but trusting that they are indeed perfect.Β

My prayer today is that I would look beyond these things and into the eyes of my loving Savior. Pray fervently for these things-yes-but not burden myself and worry over these things. He’s got it. He is faithful. He is big enough.
